WHO: Horse Capital Productions, LLC
WHAT: International Equestrian Festival of 2010 - a equine expo with 400 vendor booths
WHERE: In downtown Lexington at the Lexington Center, adjoining Rupp Arena. (430 West Vine Street, Lexington, KY 40507)
WHEN: For two weeks during the World Equestrian Games (September 25 – October 10, 2010). Trade show open from 1 p.m. to 9 p.m. daily - these afternoon and evening hours are designed to compliment Lexington’s downtown festivities surrounding the World Equestrian Games.
WHY: This location gives vendors a different type of opportunity to showcase their merchandise to the international horse community as well as the local market and regional day-trippers in Lexington during the Alltech FEI World Equestrian Games.

Q: How do I get a booth?

A: Start the process by contacting us. We will answer your questions and send you a contract, provided we still have space available. Booths are available on a first-come-first-serve basis, so the earlier you return your contract, the better.

Q: What is the standard booth size?

A: The booths are 10’ deep and 10’ wide. Each exhibiting company shall receive 8’ high pipe and drape back wall, 3’ high pipe and drape side wall and a 7’ x 44” identification sign. A company can purchase more than one booth. You can purchase a double booth or oversized spaces for items like horse trailers.

Q: How much does a booth cost?

A: Standard 10' X 10' booths for the full duration start at about $5,000 if paid-in-full up front and placement is based on a first-come-first-serve basis. A deposit is required to reserve your booth if you choose the payment plan. Discounts are given for payment-in-full and early birds receive preferential booth placement. Please note that, booth space is in high demand. Deposits are non-refundable.

Q: How does this booth fit within my budget?

A: This exposition is open for 16 days. This is cheaper than, or commensurate with, most large equestrian trade shows of shorter duration. Over 600,000 ticket sales are expected to the World Equestrian Games and tourists are visiting Lexington from around the world. The magnitude of this event is unprecedented; this is the first time in U.S. history when 8 international horse sport championships will be held in one city during the same time period.

Q: Do you take credit cards?

A: Yes. When you request a contract, you have the option of providing your credit card information or writing a check, however, we prefer checks.  If you pay the entire amount up front, we will give you discount. Booth space is first-come-first serve, so at least get your deposit in now.   All  payments are non-refundable.  Booths are selling quickly.

Q: Who is the target audience?

A: 350,000+ Bluegrass area residents, regional attendees, World Equestrian Game attendees, national and international equine community including breeders, owners, riders, as well as national and international equine tour groups.

Q: What are the proposed hours?

A: The expo floor will be open from 1 p.m. until 9 p.m. daily from September 25 – October 10, 2010. This will allow for those coming to downtown Lexington for other events during the Alltech FEI World Equestrian Games an opportunity to visit the show floor and booth.

Q: What additional events are there at the expo?

A: Horse Capital Productions is planning an opening and closing reception. Each booth will be open during these events. You badge will be your ticket to the receptions. You can purchase tickets to provide to guests or customers you wish to invite to the reception(s). HCP will invite local dignitaries, special guests, etc. to attend both receptions. Additionally, Alltech has announced the Fortnight Festival of nightly concerts and festivities in Rupp Arena.

Q: What about accommodations and lodging?

A: HCP is not responsible for providing accommodations or lodging during the Expo, however, there are two options:

  1. HOTEL ACCOMODATIONS: In support of the World Equestrian Games, we can direct you to the Housing Bureau, which was established by the World Equestrian Games. The Housing Bureau has relationships with a majority of hotels in Lexington and the surrounding areas. You can access the Housing Bureau for your accommodation needs. Please make sure to IDENTIFY YOURSELF AS BEING ASSOCIATED WITH THE INTERNATIONAL EQUESTRIAN FESTIVAL and Karen will contact you personally to place you as close to downtown Lexington as possible.

Q: Who is the management team behind the International Equestrian Festival expo?

A: The International Equestrian Festival is managed by the same team who produced the charity fundraiser event in 2004 for the Kentucky Equine Education Project (KEEP), which generated over $2.2 million dollars in proceeds.  In 2004, Governor Jones personally asked Kimberly E. Brown, a private consultant, to produce the “World’s Largest” stallion breeding rights event in history.  Kimberly E. Brown worked directly with the KEEP team, who included Claria Shadwick the Executive Director of KEEP (now with Frost, Brown and Todd, LLC), and Anne Buchanan the KEEP Field Director.

This special team has assembled again, this time for Horse Capital Productions, to bring you the International Equestrian Festival.
