Sponsorship in Action at Ecotrack Park  Lexington, KY (July 28, 2010) - Martin Collins Equine Surfaces is delighted to be associated with the International Equestrian Festival by supporting the live horse demonstration area, to be known as Ecotrack Park.  The 10-meter diameter ring will be surfaced in Ecotrack, Martin Collins Equine Surfaces' synthetic footing developed and proven for performance horse use. It will host displays from Team Nutrena, Monty Roberts, rider biomechanics expert Colleen Kelly, natural horsemanship trainer Julie Goodnight and horse communications expert Mark Peterson, as well as entertainment from singer/songwriter Templeton Thompson and on-site broadcasts by HRTV (Horse & Rider Television Network) and Horse Radio Network. Martin Collins Equine Surfaces is the market-leading synthetic footing innovator in Great Britain, and expansion plans for Ecotrack in the U.S. happily coincide with the International Equestrian Festival. Major U.S. installations to date include Sue Blinks, San Diego, CA; Stellar Farms, Parker, CO; and Stillpoint Farm, Wellington, FL.  Glynnie Walford, Martin Collins Equine Surfaces managing director, said, "One of the goals of the International Equestrian Festival is to provide equestrians with access to new and innovative products. Ecotrack's debut at the Festival does just that in a way that a conventional static exhibit never could, by allowing everyone to see the synthetic surface in action, with live horses performing on it."  A former show jumper, Martin Collins began developing riding surfaces 30 years ago and his company is the only UK synthetic footing supplier enjoying a Royal Warrant of Appointment from Her Majesty the Queen. The company has installed over 2,000 competition and private arenas in the UK alone, with 80 in the first full year of its new affiliations in continental Europe.  Ecotrack contains top grade silica sand and fibres, blended with a wax coating. The footing performs in a wide range of temperatures and offers enhanced energy return; the three world record dressage freestyle scores posted to date by Edward Gal and Moorlands Totilas were all achieved on Ecotrack arenas.  In Europe, new Ecotrack training and dressage competition arenas at the prestigious Hamburg Horse Show won much praise and the Spanish Riding School of Vienna recently extended its existing use of Ecotrack at its summer training facilities. Ecotrack enjoys endorsements from world three-day eventing champion Zara Phillips; her father, Capt Mark Phillips, trainer of the US eventing team; former Olympic show jumping champion Rodrigo Pessoa; British show jumping team members Ben Maher and Michael Whitaker; and European dressage silver medallist Laura Bechtolsheimer. It is used at leading shows such as Hickstead, the London International and Royal Windsor (host to the Dual Show Jumping and Dressage European Championships), and the Youth Olympics, Singapore 2010.  Horse Capital Productions, LLC promotes entertainment, education, and tourism for the horse industry with large-scale events production and web-based education and entertainment solutions. The 2010 International Equestrian Festival presented by HRTV (September 25 - October 10, 2010), is a Horse Capital Productions event sponsored by HRTV, ABC-36 television, The UPS Store, Nutrena, Hollywood Casino, Bayer Animal Health, Martin Collins International, Spoga Horse, Kraft Brothers Inc., Segway of Paducah and Julie Goodnight, with partnerships including Eastern Kentucky University and the Kentucky Horse Council, and support from Horse Radio Network. Horse Capital Productions, which also runs the Kentucky horse farm tours online ticketing system www.HorseCapitalTours.com, is based in Lexington, the heart of Kentucky bluegrass horse country, and operates under the philosophy of doing what is right for the horse, the community and the sport of horses. Horse Capital Productions, LLC and the International Equestrian Festival are not sponsors or affiliates of the 2010 Alltech World Equestrian Games.  ###  |
