LEXINGTON, KY--August 19, 2010: Internationally acclaimed natural horsemanship trainer and host of Horse Master on RFD-TV, Julie Goodnight, travels to Lexington, Kentucky to teach horse lovers horsemanship daily September 25 through October 10, 2010 during the International Equestrian Festival. Join Goodnight in the WEG Equine Village to learn equitation tips and strategies during her 10:00 a.m. demo at the Kentucky Horse Park. Then, join Goodnight daily at the International Equestrian Festival—a shopping and educational expo held at the Lexington Convention Center in downtown Lexington (directions included at story end). More about the IEF: The International Equestrian Festival, produced by Horse Capital Productions, runs September 25 through October 10, 2010 at the Lexington Convention Center in downtown Lexington, Kentucky. Activities take place from 1 p.m. - 9 p.m. daily and include: an international shopping expo; hospitality atrium with entertainment and tourist services; more than 100 hours of horse demonstrations in a first-of-its-kind demo arena; educational seminars; show floor broadcasts by Festival media partners; and various prize giveaways and special events. Getting to the International Equestrian Festival from: Cincinnati, OH 84.7 miles–about 1 hour 26 minutes Get on to I-71 heading south. You will merge with I-75 South and cross the Kentucky River, continue south on I-75 until you reach Lexington exit 115 for KY-922 toward Airport/Lexington. After exiting the interstate keep right at the fork to continue toward KY 922 South/Newtown Pike and merge onto KY-922 South/Newtown Pike. Continue to follow Newtown Pike until you reach West Main Street turn left on main and continue to West Vine Street. As you approach Vine Street the convention center will be on your right.
