Lexington, KY (October 29, 2010) -Thousands of visitors from across the United States and more than twenty countries enjoyed the wealth of unique experiences offered at the Pre-Vent Feeders International Equestrian Festival (IEF), which ran from September 25 through October 10 at the downtown Lexington Convention Center.

The International Equestrian Festival's engaging experiences included:

•     More than 120 hours of live horse demonstrations in Ecotrack Park, presented by Nutrena.   Centered in the heart of the Festival's trade show floor, this crowd-pleasing demo area, featuring Martin Collins Equine Surfaces, allowed visitors to get up-close to the horses and celebrity presenters.

•    The IEF and Horze partnered to present Disney's "Secretariat" Screening Celebration, with a special appearance by the film's star, Diane Lane.

•    Many companies used the Festival as a platform for debuts.  Title sponsor Pre-Vent Feeders showcased its innovative horse feeder. Presenting sponsor HRTV debuted its newly enhanced equestrian programming and premiered its "Victory Lap" show, which was filmed from the IEF show floor.  (Watch the "Victory Lap" shows for free at www.hrtvlive.com.)   Horse2O and HydraHorse LLC introduced new products, and Priefert Manufacturing highlighted its beautiful and newly expanded line of high-quality custom barn and stall solutions.

•     Hundreds of exhibitors from across the world provided an exciting and varied shopping experience for Festival attendees.

•    Respected horseman, farrier and veterinarian Dr. Ric Redden shared with attendees advancements in equine prosthetics, showcasing Josie the Amputee Mare, who has since retired out West.

•    Twelve breeds enjoyed their time in the Festival limelight during the IEF's Breed Appreciation Days.

•    The Seminar Series provided more than 70 educational sessions thanks to numerous sponsors including Purina, Bayer Animal Health, the Equine Land Conservation Resource and The Trail Rider.

•    Hundreds of hours of live entertainment from a variety of artists including country music star Templeton Thompson, as well as numerous local performers appearing at Hollywood Casino's Hospitality Atrium stage.
